Human Gene Mutation Database Pro is here!

The Lane Library is pleased to announce the licensing of the Human Gene Mutation Database (HGMD) Professional Version.

The contents and capabilities of the Professional and public versions are identical, with the exception that data in the public version are 18 months behind that in the Professional version provided by Stanford.

HGMD is a comprehensive curated collection of sequence data on variant human germ-line nuclear genes that are associated with or are causative of inherited diseases. The specific types of mutations and polymorphisms are listed, associated with publications that describe them. See Lane FAQ for details and access information.

HGMD can be also accessed from the Lane's Bioresearch Portal under the Specialized tab.
