Get to the bottom of pharmacogenomics

The complete set of videorecorded lectures from "BIOMED 204: Pharmacogenomics", taught by Profs. Russ Altman and Caroline Thorn in 2006, is now available.

Lasting a total of 9 hours, this course provides an in-depth understanding of the genetic factors that affect human responses to therapeutic drugs. Presented from a medical perspective, it is especially well-suited to clinicians who wish to understand why patients can react so differently to a standard dosage of an FDA-approved drug.

Note that access is restricted to the Stanford community and requires a SUNetID.
