TRANSFAC Professional now available

The Falconer Biology Library and the Lane Library and Knowledge Management Center are pleased to announce the licensing of the professional version of the TRANSFAC database.

Available immediately, TRANSFAC Professional is a comprehensive, highly curated compilation of data from the primary literature pertaining to transcription factors (TF), such as binding sites, interacting factors, TF-coding genes and expression patterns in a large number of species.

Details, including access information, are provided here. TRANSFAC Professional can be also accessed from Lane's Bioresearch Portal under the Specialized tab.
